Module 2: Managing and Conducting Evaluations
This half day workshop has been designed with a view to providing
participants with a clear appreciation of the “How to”, including
practical tips and lessons. The module builds on the lessons learned
from Module 1 – Evaluation Explained, and addresses the various
stages in managing and doing an evaluation, that is, from identifying
and clarifying the evaluation requirement to planning and conducting the
evaluation and finally to reporting and reviewing the results of the
evaluation. This interactive workshop has a practical emphasis with
case studies, scenarios and syndicate exercises used extensively.

evaluation project
knowledge and practical tips on how to commission an evaluation project
an awareness of key issues to consider when developing an evaluation
plan
an overview of key data collection methods and analysis techniques
knowledge of how to report and maximise the use of evaluations
