    Noel Sutton

    Principal

    Noel founded Courage in 2000 and has extensive experience as a leader, manager and adviser in both public and private sectors including as the Convenor of the Canberra Evaluation Forum for 18 years.  As a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management; a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a practicing member of the Australasian Evaluation Society, Noel maintains a good knowledge of public sector trends and challenges and is an expert in the monitoring and evaluation field having supported a number of major federal government agencies at a senior level.

    Noel’s academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts (in Public Sector Administration), Post Graduate Diploma in Social Science, a Masters Degree in Organisational Development and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

    Linda Doolan

    Senior Consultant

    Linda was a founding member of Courage. Linda has lead or participated in numerous evaluations and reviews and has significant experience in the design and conduct of customised surveys developed to gather client feedback, staff perceptions or to support evaluation, review and planning activities. Her strong project management, strategic development, research and report writing skills have been utilised to assist our clients in the development of key documents, implementation of performance improvement plans and conduct of reviews. Linda holds a Bachelor of Education and is a qualified internal quality auditor.

    Karen Roberson

    Project Support Associate

    Karen is a long-standing member of the Courage team.  She provides project and administrative support to our consultants and business partners and clients when needed.  Karen has considerable experience in the development of appropriate data display techniques to support survey reports, manipulation of survey databases, preparation of materials for workshops, production of high quality reports and coordination of business functions and events.  Karen has a Diploma in Business (Frontline) Management, Diploma in Project Management and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

    Margaret Goode

    Senior Associate Consultant

    Margaret has over 25 years’ experience in providing management consulting services to both private and public sector organisations. A former Director with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), Margaret has conducted numerous high level consulting assignments with particular emphasis on organisational planning, strategy and design, management and process improvement, change management, cost reduction, policy analysis, program evaluation and performance audit. Margaret’s academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Diploma in Librarianship and Diploma in Human Resource Management.

    Graham Smith

    Senior Associate Consultant

    Graham has a deep knowledge of government administration gained mostly through leading or conducting many forms of audit, review and evaluation. These include internal and performance audits, risk management, evaluation and developing performance indicators. He has also been instrumental in improving management practices, including through business process reviews. Graham has excellent quantitative skills dating from his first degree, a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the University of Melbourne. He also holds a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Canberra and is a Certified Internal Auditor.
