Evaluation in today’s
Australian public sector has emerged as a vital ingredient for
demonstrating performance and to support decision making at all levels in
organisations and programs. Recent developments such as the
public sector’s focus on sound policy implementation and project management
require program and project managers to know how to use evaluation to
support the successful development, implementation, and monitoring and
review of public initiatives.
In response to these
developments, IPAA has developed a comprehensive Evaluation Training Program
for public sector program/project managers who are new to evaluation or who
wish to increase their knowledge in evaluation. We have been successfully
running the workshops since July 2007 and have received exciting
feedback from participants.
The IPAA Evaluation Training Program comprises
